Eden Reforestation Projects — Madagascar Reaches Full Planting Capacity

VANCOUVER, CANADA — Oasis of Change, Inc. announces that the Eden Reforestation Projects planting site in Madagascar has been sunset after reaching full planting capacity. During the 2024-2025 fiscal year, Oasis of Change contributed 675 verified trees to the project through Tree-Nation, planting Rhizophora mucronata mangroves in one of the world's most critical biodiversity regions.
"Madagascar was our first direct planting geography, and seeing the Eden project reach completion is a meaningful milestone," said Gabriel Dalton, Oasis of Change. Following the project's sunset, Oasis of Change redirected its reforestation allocations to 14 countries across six continents for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, planting 7,144 trees — a 958% increase over the prior cycle.
The term "sunset" indicates that the planting site has reached its full capacity and is no longer accepting new tree allocations. All trees planted through the project remain verified and tracked via Tree-Nation certificates.
