How Our Funding Works
Every tree we fund flows through one of three streams. The balance between them is what lets us anchor one forest deeply while reaching new partners across the globe each year.
- Core
- The majority of each year’s funding, concentrated in one flagship restoration site so a single landscape gets the density it needs to recover.
- Pilot
- Small test plantings with new partners around the world. They let us verify a project’s species, certification, and reporting before scaling our support.
- Gov. Grant
- Restricted funding from a government grant, directed to the specific project the grant supports.
